AAHSA (ASEAN Alliance of Health Supplement Associations) was formed in 2006 by the national health supplement associations in ASEAN. It is a member of the ASEAN Consultative Committee for Standards and Quality (ACCSQ), specifically in the traditional medicines and health supplements product working group. AAHSA’s main objective is to help develop and grow the ASEAN health supplements industry by facilitating trade in quality products for the benefits of consumers. It also provides high level regulatory, scientific, technical and market data to support the ASEAN Harmonisation process for health supplements regulations.

ASEAN Food and Beverage Alliance (AFBA) is a group of national associations in South East Asia involved in the manufacture, distribution and sale of food and beverage products. We are a dedicated non-profit body committed to effectively representing the food industry within the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN). 

The General Incorporated Association of International Foods & Nutrition (AIFN) and its members are committed to pursuing a sound development of the  dietary/food supplements market in Japan that is built on consumer satisfaction and quality assurance for products.

Our mission is to expand the market in which every consumer in Japan can easily access dietary/food supplements.

APSKI (Asosiasi Pengusaha Suplemen Kesehatan Indonesia) is Indonesia’s association of supplement businesses. The association  created upon the initiatives of its members during the year 1997 and has grown over time to have 40 active members. The members of APSKI consists of multinational and local direct selling ,pharmaceutical and  raw material companies. APSKI prides itself for providing members insight to the latest Indonesian Food and Drugs regulations.

As an official organization with over 2,000 members in China, the purpose of CCCMHPIE (China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of Medicines & Health Products) is to coordinate, promote and supervise the import and export in business  for medicinal and health products, to maintain business order, protect fair competition and to organize Chinese companies to attend international exhibitions.

awareness of the role of improved nutrition and preventative approaches, including the appropriate use of health supplements. 

The Indonesia Food & Beverage Association established in April, 15th 1976, based on the awareness of the importance to facilitate and promote food business in Indonesia, GAPMMI also helps its members to protect and develop their business by providing them with valuable assistance and information on multi-aspect on food business from food safety, labeling and other economic issues related to food industries.

The International Probiotics Association (IPA)  is a global non-profit organization bringing together through its membership, the probiotic sector’s stakeholders including but not limited to academia, scientists, health care professionals, consumers, industry and regulators. The IPA’s mission is promote the safe and efficacious use of probiotics throughout the world. Holding NGO status before Codex Alimentarius, the IPA is also recognized as the unified “Global Voice of Probiotics®” around the world. 

IPI was established by the Singapore Ministry of Trade & Industry in April 2011, to catalyse and enable enterprises to grow their businesses through the use of technology and innovation. IPI promotes open innovation, and works with enterprises to source for technologies available both locally and from abroad.

 

The International Society for Nutraceuticals and Functional Foods (ISNFF) is a non-profit international society established to strengthen communication, dissemination of information and networking among interested parties from academia, industry and government participants. ISNFF is under consideration by the International Union of Food Science and Technology (IUFoST) to serve as one of its Special Interest Groups.

The Japanese Society of Antiaging Nutrition (JAAN) started its operations in 2008 in Japan with the support of various scientists from Japan and Europe willing to promote the importance of impact of nutrition on Health studies.Its members, professionals, scientists, professors and researchers, are dedicated to provide and share elements of research on anti-aging food. JAAN aims to improve interactions between and among professionals, scientists and experts from various horizons. JAAN encourages interactions between actors of anti-aging nutrition. JAAn encourages research on the benefits of food on healt; fosters mutually productive relationships between Asian and European research facilities and industries;promotes nutrition as a tool for prevention of age-related diseases. 

Korea Health Supplements Association(KHSA) is the only association speaking for profit of Korean Health Functional Food industry. KHSA tries to help its members to protect and develop their business by providing them with a variety of services and supports. KHSA also aims to ensure the sound development of national health functional food industry, thereby contributing to improving the health of nationals. In addition, its goals are to enhance consumer trust, improve nationals' awareness against health functional foods and globalize domestic health functional foods.

The Malaysian Dietary Supplement Association represents the interests of dietary supplement companies in Malaysia.

Some of the objectives of the Association are:

  1. To improve public health.
  2. To develop, promote and increase awareness of the safety and benefits of complementary healthcare products.
  3. To establish and develop a professional image.
  4. To promote, support, develop, maintain and protect its interests.
  5. To represent its members to the government on issues, laws and regulations.
  6. Health supplements companies operating in Malaysia are encouraged to join the association. 

Life Sciences Queensland Limited (LSQ) is an industry led organisation working closely with its Members and the broader industry to provide leadership, promotion and growth opportunities for life sciences organisations in Queensland. Representing over 160 Members involved in, or supporting the life sciences, LSQ continues to assist and work alongside the Queensland government to advocate the role that the life sciences industry and innovation plays as a key driver of State, and global, economic development and sustainability.

The Taiwan Food and Pharmaceutical Machinery Manufacturers’ Association is based on Article 1 of this Industry Group Code, attempts to "coordinate the fellow trader (food machinery industry and its parts/components manufacturer) connection to improve common interest and plan for innovation and promotion of the industry, to promote economic development".

This service line:

  • Assist the members in marketing promotion.
  • To actualize government upgrading guidance policy, assist fellow trades in products innovation.
  • Promote mutual assistance and cooperation among fellow traders and to march towards the international market by strategic alliance.
  • Issue and distribute member manufacturer's bidding and price competition certificate,to participate in bid and price competition of the government and related sectors. 

US China The U.S.-China Health Products Association (USCHPA) is a U.S. non-profit 501c6 organization dedicated to the overall natural health products industry including dietary supplements, nutritional ingredients, organic foods, natural cosmetics, sports nutrition and traditional herbal products. The association’s primary focus is the continued development of China’s dietary supplement and overall natural health product industry. USCHPA works closely with both government and industry to achieve its objectives. Through its staff and partners located in China, the association offers it members a wide variety of business services to help them succeed in China such as product registration, partner search, trade mark protection, market entry consulting, sourcing, etc. USCHPA has staff in Beijing, Shanghai and Tianjin to serve its members.

中華有機與自然食品協會

近年來,由於生態破壞與全球暖化,造成了環境的重大危機,加上人類健康意識的不斷高漲,『衛生安全』的健康食品與『有機樂活』的生活方式,已經成為全球重視健康人士的首選目標,也使得全球有機產品的市場,每年以二至三成的速度快速成長,儼然形成一股追求自然健康的時尚風潮。本會為依法設立、非以營利為目的之社會團體

成立的宗旨在於,倡導自然生態循環法則,落實環境保育理念,引進日本與先進國家有機與自然食品的耕種、培育與加工製造技術,以及認證標準、作業程序與制度規範,進而提升國內食品原物料的栽種與加工技術,提昇國人自然、有機、健康、環保的生活,促進台灣有機產業的標準化、精緻化、差異化與國際化,促進國人健康的飲食生活。

新加坡中国医药保健品商会成立于1981年1月15日。1995年,为了推动我国中药产业的发展,提升中药的地位,我们与新加坡其他四家中药商会组成“新加坡中药团体联合委员会”(简称:“联委会”),且被公推为主席(2010年2月卸下此职)。2002年“联委会”创建中国境外首家“中药学院”,为我国培养中药人才,提升中药从业人员的专业素质。2007年,联委会与印尼、菲律宾、泰国联合创建了“亚细安传统药同盟” (AATMI),后来吸收马来西亚成为会员。“亚细安传统药业同盟”在亚细安筹建共同市场,在传统药与保健品法规的整合会谈中,既维护同业的利益,从公众安全的角度,又接纳法规的合理规范建议。 “联委会”于2009、2010年相续举办两届成功的“传统药博览会”,提高传统药物的地位,为同业提供对外发展的平台。

今天,新加坡中国医药保健品商会已有四十多家会员,其中包括中药进出口商、百货公司和生产厂家。会员经营品种范围,从原药材、饮片、中成药、保健品、药酒、茶叶,到医用敷料、医疗器械等,一应俱全。

 

TAIPEI BIOTECHNOLOGY SERVICE AND BUSINESS TRADE ASSOCIATION

  1. To provide the biotechnology services.
  2. To assist the Government in amending the decree and promoting the conduct of the decree.
