We have decided to push back Vitafoods Asia by 7 weeks to the end of November 2021. The event will continue as a hybrid event, with an in-person event – hosted at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Singapore, 24-25 November 2021 – and an accompanying virtual event, running in parallel from 23-26 November 2021.
The decision to move the event was not taken lightly but we believe that this will benefit the industry and put us in the best possible position to run an in-person event in Asia in 2021. Vitafoods understands how important it is for our industry to stay connected, and we have spent the last 12 months developing our virtual offering to ensure our community has been able to network, meet existing and new business contacts, learn and share knowledge. These new dates provide us with the best chance to get back to what we do best, bringing the nutraceutical community together, and this year you will have more opportunities than ever with our new hybrid format for Vitafoods Asia.
The original dates meant that Vitafoods Europe and Asia were running back to back which was proving challenging for both our suppliers and exhibitors. We hope that by moving the event to Q4 everyone will be able to plan more effectively, and that Singapore and the APAC region will be in a more stable position in relation to COVID-19 and ready to open up to foreign visitors and allow a return of larger exhibitions.
While it continues to be a challenging year for all, we are looking forward to welcoming our community at the event in 2021.
Vitafoods Asia returns in 2021 to continue to serve our fast-changing industry. Our usual in-person event in Singapore will this year run alongside our virtual event, hosted on our intuitive digital platform. Providing the flexibility to attend in whatever way works best for you.
As ever, exhibitors and visitors alike will be able to explore specific APAC markets. You'll discover the largest product development solutions, source suppliers and distributors, explore the latest industry insights and connect with APAC nutraceutical professionals. And this year, you'll do so in whatever way works best for you.
Also new for 2021: our peer-to-peer matchmaking service, connecting you with pre-qualified buyers and distributors for secure, one-to-one chats.
We thank our community for their ongoing support. Be sure to register your interest if you’d like to be the first to know when registration for Vitafoods Asia 2021 is opening.
Vitafoods is closely monitoring developments of the Novel Coronavirus, which first emerged from Wuhan, China, in December 2019. The health and safety of our colleagues and customers is always our top priority. As such, we are following all safety advice and precautions as recommended by local Departments of Health, as well as the World Health Organisation (WHO), seriously. Relatively few cases of Coronavirus have been found outside of China. Several countries have put in place screening measures at airports and points of entry, and the Chinese government has put in place measures to limit the spread of the virus within the country too. As such, for now, customers can be reassured that while we are monitoring the situation as an international business and staying up to date on official sources of updates and guidance from the government and authorities, Vitafoods Asia will take place on 23-24 September 2020.
