Dr. Chin-Kun Wang, is the current President of the International Society for Nutraceuticals and Functional Foods, ambassador of Global Harmonization Initiative, and also a distinguished professor in Chung Shan Medical University, Taiwan. Dr. Wang was the former president of Chung Shan Medical University and also president of Nutrition Society of Taiwan. He was awarded national biomedical development and Who's Who in the world over the past years.
Dr. Chyn Boon Wong joined Morinaga Milk Industry in 2016 and has worked in probiotics research and development. Her main research activities are focused on scientific substantiation of health benefits of bifidobacteria as probiotics, including the design and execution of projects related to the basic and functional aspects of bifidobacteria. She received B. Sc. degree with honours in Microbiology in 2011 from the University of Putra Malaysia, and PhD from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2016, specialising in the development of lactic acid bacteria and their bioactive molecules as neutraceuticals. She has been the recipient of USM Fellowship in Universiti Sains Malaysia and the Regional Bio-Asia Program in Institute for Agricultural Research (INRA), Angers-Nantes, France.
Dr. Lin Jing is a research fellow in A/P LIU Shaoquan’s research group in the Food Science and Technology programme, National University of Singapore (NUS). Her doctoral research focused on the development
of functional bakery products fortified with phenolic compounds and the evaluation of their nutritional and sensory properties. She is currently involved in the development and commercialization of the okara-based functional drink and ingredient.
Dilip Ghosh has received his PhD from India. He is an international speaker, facilitator and author and professionally associated with Nutriconnect, Soho Flordis International, Australia; Honorary Ambassador, Global Harmonization Initiatives (GHI). He is a fellow of American College of Nutrition (ACN), professional member of Australian Institute of Food Science & Technology (AIFST), an advisor and executive board member of Health Foods and Dietary Supplements Association (HADSA), India and also in editorial board of several journals. Dr. Ghosh has published more than 90 papers in peer reviewed journals, numerous articles in food and nutrition magazines and books. His recent book, Pharmaceuticals to Nutraceuticals: A shift in disease prevention under CRC Press, USA has been published in 2016.
Michelle Teodoro is a Food Science and Nutrition Analyst at Mintel, specialisingin food science and ingredients, with a focus on nutrition. As part of herrole, she is responsible for analysing and providing insights on health,diet and nutrition trends, regulations, and food science advances.Michelle brings over five years of experience in the food and nutrition industry.Equipped with a wealth of food science and nutrition knowledge, she iscurrently a Food Science and Nutrition Analyst at Mintel, specialising in foodscience and ingredients.
Dr Heng Kiang Soon holds a PhD in Nutritional Science. His research interest has been on obesity and metabolic syndrome. Currently he is a lecturer at the School of Applied Science, Republic Polytechnic, Singapore. His research focus is on the formulation of nutraceuticals and functional foods with effective health promoting and therapeutic effects. He has been providing research and development consultancy to food companies. As a nutritionist, he is also passionate in promoting healthy diet and nutrition to the public. He was featured in media including Channel News Asia, Radio Capital 958, The Straits Time, Business Insider and Lianhe Zhaobao.
Silvia Trudda holds a Univesity Degree as Agronomist from Universitá di Sassari (Italy), with specialization in Food Technology. Participating in Studies about new analytical models for detection of sensorial characterization of Food products at Institut National Agronomique of Paris, France. Master in Commercial Direction and Marketing Management at ESIC Madrid, Spain. Since 1999 Technical and Commercial Manager for Food Industry. Since 2006 Food Department Director at Massó Group, based at Barcelona, Spain, being Resposable of Businesss developpement and Sales Worldwide.
David Foreman is a pharmacist, author and media personality known to consumers internationally as, The Herbal Pharmacist. His background in both pharmacy and natural medicine put Foreman in an elite class of health experts who can teach integrative medicine practices.
